Think Canada Post and you think old, dated institution. I made the mistake of putting a bank deposit envelope into a Canada Post mailbox a couple of weeks ago.
What do I do? Put my arm inside to find it, all the while worrying that a gremlin may bite my hand? I went back the next morning hoping to catch the guy/girl pulling out all the mail, to no avail.
I thought to myself that I had just 'lost' a good amount of money...
A colleague of mine suggested I should call. Call? Call where? To say what? Can you find a white envelope with some numbers written on the front with no address, etc... I had no other choice so I called.
One week later, I received mail from Canada Post with my deposit envelope and all the cheques inside. I was amazed. I have told everyone I know.
Good for you Canada Post - you have done really well.
